Full Name: Zilola Bahodirovna Musaeva
Birth Date: July 28, 1979

Shahzoda, whose real name is Zilola Bahodirovna Musaeva (July 28, 1979), is a well-known pop singer in Uzbekistan. She sings in Uzbek, Russian, Tajik, and Kazakh. Before her solo career, Shahzoda was one of two members of pop band " Jonim". They came to fame with their song "Qarama Ko'zlarimga-Don't look at my eyes" in 1998.

The band separated 2 years later, and both members Shahzoda and Aziza have gone singing as a solo artists. Shahzoda first single "Bor Ekan" became hit in the country and got her famous in pop culture. Shahzoda released her first album Bor ekan in 2002. Album became one of the best selling albums of the year earning her first nominations in Tarona Records Awards (Uzbek Music Awards). Album's second single O'kinch became hit among youngsters and ever since then Shahzoda sings this song in every album and concert. Her second album "Baxt Bo'ladi" was released in 2003 and became another hit album for Shahzoda. Album's single Yurak Sezar became hit on TV and radio channels. Third album Keragimsan released in 2004 and sold more than 25,000 copies in its first week. Album's first single Keragimsan was released in May 2004 in radio channel " Vodiy Sadosi". It became #1 hit in Uzbekistan. Album's singles like Baxtliman, Sevgi, Tamannozi became hits in radio channels. "Qayt" is a duet from the album collaborated with well-known Uzbek rapper Shoxrux became a hit and received positive views from critics. Album's single "Hayot Ayt" had been chosen as a soundtrack to an uzbek movie "Fotima va Zuhra" in which Shahzoda played the lead role. She gave a concert in Xalqlar Do'stligi Saroyi biggest concert hall in Uzbekistan. Tickets were sold out in just weeks. in early 2005 Shahzoda had a lead role in Uzbek movie "Fotima va Zuhra" which hit the theater in early 2004. The movie did well in box office and Shahzoda received positive reviews for her role. The fourth album of Shahzoda released in 2005, "Baxtliman", sold more than 50,000 copies in its first week. Album's first single Keragimsan was released in radio channels and was received well by fans. A video for the song has been made and aired in TV Yoshlar. Album's singles like Baxtliman, Faqat Sen, Layli va Majnun became hits. Shahzoda sang a few songs in the Tajik language, Manu Tanho and Naghz Mebinam, was received well by Tajik fans. Her collaboration with Shahriyor, another well-known rapper, Birinchi Sevgi did well in charts in uzbek tv channels. A concert for the album was scheduled October 25-28, in Xalqlar Do'stligi has been canceled due to a politics, as her father was involved in opposition against government. A tour has been canceled also. Shahzoda gave a concert in Almaty, Kazakhstan for her fourth album " Baxtliman". Shahzoda had a lead role in 2007 uzbek movie "Zumrad va Qimmat". Movie did well in theaters and Shahzoda received positive review for portraying the role of Zumrad. The soundtrack for the movie "Orzular" was sang by Shahzoda herself. Shahzoda also pursuing a career in Russia. Her first single "1000 i Odna Noch" and "Mezhdu Nebom I Zemley"(Feat. Dj Smash) was received well by Russian fans and a video had been playing in Russian Music Channel RU-TV. Shahzoda plans to release 3 albums in 2009. One in Uzbek, the others being in Russian and Tajik Shahzoda's recent hits include Assalomu Aleykum,Sevgi Sotilmas, Yo'q Yo'q, Erkala, Nolam,Ol Yuragimni
