DjicecolD was born Isaac Marcelino Castillo Jr. on Septemeber 26th 1987 in a small, South American town called Cochabamba in the country of Bolivia. The youngest of the three to Isaac Castillo Sr. a locally known Dj and National Soccer hero and Melva Navia, a receptionist of a radio station. Isaac Castillo Sr. moved his family to Elizabeth, New Jersey when Isaac Jr. was only 6 months. This is where he first fell in love with music. He took trips to Newark to buy hip-hop tapes with his father and snuck into his older brothers cd collection every night before bed. At the age of 15 the family moved to Miami, Florida where Isaac became what friends would call him Icecold.

The young boy blossomed and after graduating from Coral Park Senior High the same person who took him to buy his first tapes bought his 17 year old son his first mixer. This would put a shift in Isaac's life. Isaac took the name of Icecold in high school because of the cold demeanor he treat the girls who would take a romantic interest in him.

"Icecold was a nick name that stuck with me even after graduation so when it was time to select a stage name. I didn't have to think too hard. People already knew me as Icecold so it was easy." - Isaac

DjicecolD began working the house/warehouse party circuit in Miami while he continued his pursuit for higher learning. He enrolled himself into the summer courses of FIU immediatly after graduating high school but found that the journey was shortlived. He started missing more and more days of class and realized following his dream as a Dj was more profitable to him than college. In the fall of 2006 Isaac Castillo Jr. dropped out of Florida International University and left behind a life of homework and attendance for a mixer and a pair of headphones.

The life of a Dj is a struggle and cannot be done alone if success is what you are after. Isaac introduced his older brother to the game. Sergio saw the hunger and became addicted to night life introduced by his little brother. Sergio and Isaac took the path into the club/nightlife together and promised on New Years Day of 2007 to give their all to the hustle. Together they continue achieving thier goals and today have been an unstoppable Duo in the Miami Nightlife/Music Scene.
